Automatical Drop Down Bottom Door Seal With Side Edge 1000mm
Features:
The concealed T type has the side edge on the bottom, can screw fix
it from the door bottom, more suitable for the metal door which no
need to make the through groove in the door bottom, cannot see any
other things except the copper bolt, it is more invisiable.
This Heavy Duty design makes it more fit the fireproof door or some
other more heavier door.
A concealed, automatic door bottom seal that is spring loaded to
lift clear of the floor when the do or is opened.
It is acoustically designed, featuring silicon gaskets for medium
temperature smoke and fire door applications.
Operated automatically by pressure against the door jamb on its
adjustable strike.
lt can also be fitted into the bottom rail of a meta door by the
fabricator.
Location: Fully mortised into the groove in the bottom of single and double
butt-hinged door.
Accessories: Fixing screws and side plates are supplied.
Seal: Silicon Rubber in gray color. Can change it tothe fire retadant
silicone strips if need use it for Fire door, pirce is US$0.2 more
expensive than normal silicone strips.
Installation instruction:
Install Location: Door Bottom. Full Sealed Stainless Steel End
Plates with Screw. Be installed in the pre-slotted under the bottom of door. When the door closed, the door frame
press the copper bolt, the seals will drop down and touch the floor
automaticly. When the door opened, the seals will lifting
automaticly, leave the floor.
Step 1. Pre-slot a slot that size about 15*34mm (which can put the
seals inside) under the bottom of door.
Step 2. Make sure the install direction. The end with copper bolt
is near to the frame with hinges and the hermetic seal face to
floor.
Step 3. Make sure the bottom seal length can fit the door:
The length of BH-M011 bottom seal should be 3-5mm shorter than
width of the door if need to make the side plates implant of the
door leaf. If not, the length should be same as the door width.
Step 4. According to the frame and door size, cut the end without
copper bolt to get the proper length.
Step 5. Adjust : After installation. Open the door and turn on the
copper bolt out or in to adjust the drop down parts to touch the
floor slightly when the door closed.
